Every evening before dinner, my grandparents have a Gin & Tonic and some crisps (they know how to live).

Recently, they were pleased to learn that they could start recycling crisp packets, however their local recycling service won’t take the packets until next October.

So - the diligent eco-warriors that they are - they have been saving all of their crisp packets in an unused cabinet in their house.

But eating crisps so regularly means the packets start to overflow very quickly, so my Grandad has come up with a way to maximise cabinet space by rolling the packets into logs (twenty packets per log) and securing them with elastic bands before storing in the cabinet.
